Mountaineering Scotland is committed to being an employer and volunteer organisation that recognises and encourages equal opportunities, diversity, inclusion and respect in the workforce, with employment conditions and practices that ensure all staff and volunteers are treated equitably. We particularly welcome applications from those who are significantly underrepresented in our sector including women, people with disabilities (including hidden disabilities) and individuals from Black and Minority ethnic communities.
As part of the Member Services & Communications Team, you will have an important and dynamic role in raising awareness and visibility of the work of Mountaineering Scotland, developing our communications channels to support the delivery of our strategic aims and outcomes.
This role is at the forefront of telling the story of our organisation, our activities and our members, and celebrating some of our country’s best-loved and most precious environments.
As part of an exciting series of developments for 2024, ClimbScotland are looking for a forward-thinking, organising and planning wizard for our new Competition Officer role.
The role will be an essential part of the ClimbScotland Pathway - key to organising planning and delivering of our domestic competition programme as well as leading on the development of future competitions, in collaboration with walls, clubs and partner organisations.
If you have a passion for hill walking, mountaineering and climbing,
or just love Scotland's mountains, and have some time available to get
more involved in the work of Mountaineering Scotland, we need you!
