We're looking for two brilliant new people to help us support Scotland's 16,000 members and 130 affiliated clubs. If you love the outdoors and want a job with purpose, one of these could be for you.
Are you a friendly, organised administrator who enjoys helping people and making systems run smoothly? As our Membership Admin Officer, you'll be one of the first friendly voices our members, clubs and the public hear. You'll manage membership records and payments, support online bookings and events, help members and club committees get the most out of our JustGo system, and keep our Perth office running smoothly.
We're looking for someone with experience in administration and/or customer service, confident communication skills, and a calm, professional approach. Experience with a CRM or membership database is important - familiarity with JustGo is a bonus but not essential. An interest in outdoor activities in Scotland will help you connect with our members and our purpose.

Are you a creative communicator who can turn great ideas into engaging stories, campaigns and content? We're after a talented, proactive Communications and Digital Content Officer to join our Member Services and Communications team. You'll shape social media campaigns, produce content for our website and email newsletters, lead the editorial production of Scottish Mountaineer magazine, and develop news stories that connect people with the places and issues that matter to Scotland's outdoor community.
We're looking for someone with professional experience in communications, PR, marketing or digital content, excellent writing and editing skills, and confidence with tools like Mailchimp, Canva or Adobe Creative Suite. Knowledge of Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads is a plus, and an active interest in outdoor activities or mountaineering is important.

Both roles come with 35.5 days paid annual leave (rising with service), employer pension contributions matched up to 6%, an Employee Assistance Programme, a Cycle to Work scheme, and access to skills training and development. You'll join a small, supportive team at Scotland's national representative body for hill walkers, climbers and snowsports tourers, with a chance to make a difference for the community you're part of.
We particularly welcome applications from people underrepresented in our sector. If either role sounds like you, don't wait - get your application in before the closing date!
