Mountain Safety Advisor (Part time)

This new post presents an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join the well respected and high-profile Mountain Safety team at Mountaineering Scotland. The post will attract a candidate with MCI/winter ML qualification with a substantial knowledge of the Scottish Mountains and mountain safety training and education.

The Mountain Safety Advisor will take a key role in the delivery of our Mountain Safety training programme working closely with our other Mountain Safety Advisors. The post will primarily involve mountain skills course delivery with some associated administrative duties.

This post is being advertised as a permanent part-time position which equate to a 0.4 FTE contract for the role of Mountain Safety Advisor (90 days per annum).

The duties of the post will require the employee to work an unspecified number of irregular hours including evening and weekend work. Full details and salary information are detailed in the job description below.
