Wildlife crime event

Thursday 11th August 2016, 9:06am

Scottish Natural Heritage is holding an event this September for people concerned about wildlife crime.

The Partnership for Action Against Wildlife Crime event will take place at the SNH Battleby Conference Centre in Perthshire, on 14th September.

It is for all those who wish to recognise what wildlife crime looks like and to understand what actions should then be taken, including representatives of outdoor recreation organisations (walkers, cyclists, dog walkers, horse riders) and those who wish to inform a variety of audiences about wildlife crime.

This event offers participants the opportunity to share case studies, explore some of the barriers to the prevention and enforcement of wildlife crime and to discuss opportunities for good practice.

To reserve a place at this event please complete the booking form, attached and on the web at http://www.snh.gov.uk/policy-and-guidance/sharing-good-practice/events/

Places will be limited to two per organisation in the first instance – others will be placed on a waiting list.
