Wildcats in the Angus Glens

Wednesday 29th June 2016, 11:16am

A talk on the Scottish wildcat and its presence in the Angus Glens will take place at the Loch of the Lowes Visitors Centre near Dunkeld.

The talk, by Hebe Carus, of Scottish Wildcat Action, will address the plight of one of Scotland’s most endangered animals and look at what is being done to save it from extinction.

The talk is free, but the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland will be collecting donations for the Scottish Wildcat Action project. These funds will be ring-fenced for the group’s work with wildcats. For more information about this multi-partner project, visit www.scottishwildcataction.org

The talk will take place at the visitor centre at 2pm on Sunday, 24th July. Contact Jonathan Pinnick on 01350 727337 for further details
