SAIS daily avalanche forecasts to return on 15 Dec 2022

Full daily avalanche forecasts from The Scottish Avalanche Information Service (SAIS) are set to begin again on the 15^th of December, with standby services already in place due to recent snowfall in the Northern Cairngorms and Lochaber hills.

The SAIS provides avalanche assessments for six Scottish mountain areas - Lochaber, Glen Coe, Northern and Southern Cairngorms Creag Meagaidh and Torridon – from mid-Dec until mid-April.
