Dundee Mountain Ceilidh

Wednesday 26th September 2018, 10:36am

Dundee Mountain Club is holding its annual Mountain Ceilidh on Friday 12th October – and we’re all invited.

The ceilidh will be on board the restored 1820s frigate HMS Unicorn, at Victoria Dock, Dundee, with music by Suzanne Fivey and Friends and all proceeds going to The Brain Tumour Charity.

Pete Mann, president of the club, said: “This will be a great opportunity for members of different clubs to mingle and share mountaineering stories, with excellent ceilidh music and dancing.

“It's going to be a fun and light-hearted night, so don't worry if you aren't an expert dancer!”

Previous years have seen the ceilidh sell out, with over 170 people and raising over £1600 for charity.

Tickets are £19 and include hot food during the break, and children are welcome, at a reduced price.

You can find more information on the club’s website and book tickets here.
