2018 AGM draft minutes and members feedback

Friday 21st December 2018, 10:30am

The Mountaineering Scotland AGM and members meeting took place on Saturday 24 November 2018 at Glenmore Lodge.

The draft minutes are now available to download from our website here.

We were delighted to have a record 67 individual members and club representatives attending and participating in the votes,  discussion and afternoon workshops. More than 75% of those attending had never attended our AGM before, so it was fantastic to have so many new members along and getting involved in the organisation.

Postive feedback from members

Members who attended were sent a feedback survey by email and over half responded with some really positive and useful feedback which we will use to shape future events.

Overall the event rated very highly, with the lunch and afternoon workshops proving a popular attraction.

Members commented that they enjoyed meeting others, and that the afternoon session was a good way to engage with other members.

We've also had some great suggestions for workshops for next time and hope to incorporate some of these and other ideas into the 2019 AGM. And of course, we hope to see you there!
